Hello friends,

Today is the last day to register for my June Birthday Giveaway. I will draw two winners early on Saturday morning, so if you have not registered, go here to do so.

It is time for our Friday Getting to Know You post. These have been so much fun. I’ve loved learning more about you, my wonderful readers.

Today’s Getting to Know You question is one that should offer up some interesting answers. So, here goes.

Throughout the course of your life, what jobs have you had?

Ok, here are my answers.

  • When I was 15 I taught piano lessons to 8 beginner students.
  • Then when I was 16, I went to work as a clerk in the local pharmacy, Brown’s Drugs, where I worked weekends and school breaks until I graduated from pharmacy school.
  • I worked as a clinical research coordinator and ran a pharmacy in a dermatologist’s office in Snellville, GA (where everybody’s somebody).
  • I worked for Bristol Myers Squibb as a medical services manager in the early 90’s.
  • I also worked as a clinical research coordinator and saw patients in the Lipid Clinic at Emory.
  • I managed the cardiac rehab unit, as well as one of the satellite cardiology office at Emory.
  • For the past 10 years, I have worked as a relief pharmacist.
  • Now, my calling is as a speaker and author.
