Can you believe that it is the first of October? Where has this year gone? It seems like only yesterday that we began our 2010 Scripture Memorization Challenge and here we are at our 19th verse for the year. Amazing!!
Don’t know about you, but I am a better woman for having memorized 19 verses from Holy Writ. Psalm 139 has had huge impact on me. It constantly reminds me that God is very present and acutely aware of all that is going on in my life. I need to know that and I bet you do too.
We are on the home stretch, so let’s feel a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit blowing through our color treated hair and move to our 19th verse. Here is mine:
Psalm 139: 19 (NIV)
If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
