Today I have chosen a word that is completely and totally NEW to me for New Word Wednesday. This word describes a concept with which every Christian is probably familiar. So, I am excited to offer you this NEW Word.
KENOSIS: /ke ‘no sis/: action of emptying; the relinquishment of divine attributes by Jesus Christ in becoming human.
USAGE: The KENOSIS of Jesus Christ allowed Him to fully experience every temptation that you and I experience as we live out our daily lives, yet He never sinned.
Now, how cool is that?
