Although both my grandmothers had green thumbs, I do not. So, when anything comes up in my yard, I consider it a definite win. Here are a few of the delights that I am enjoying in my garden and on my porch.

Variegated Solomon’s seal

Bloom on  Solomon’s Seal

Toad Shade Trillium

I can’t remember what the name of this bush is, but it is so pretty in the spring with its pink blooms seen in the 2nd picture.

This dainty groundcover produces delicate blooms each spring.

This is one of my favorite plants in my garden, It is a Little Brown Jug plant. It has beautiful heart shaped leaves that hide the flower beneath them.

Little Brown Jug

See them? The Jug/Flower will turn a dark brown later on in the summer.

My Lenten Roses were spectacular this year. The blooms have faded to a very light pink.

The only name I know for this beautiful little plant is Green ‘N Gold.

Now to the plants that give me such delight. My hostas. I have several varieties…some minis, some small, some medium, some large and some extra large.

Tiny Tears – my first mini hosta

Heart and Soul – a medium hosta

Guardian Angel – a large hosta

My largest hosta – aren’t the leaves huge and lovely?

Hope – another mini

Cookie Crumbs – a mini

Silver Threads and Golden Needles – a small hosta

Striptease – a medium

Teaspoon – another small hosta

I hope you enjoyed a walk through my garden.
