Sixteen years ago today, January 17th, 1995, I made one of the best decisions of my entire life. I said, “I do” to Greg in the Susan B. Harris chapel on the campus of Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia. It was a very small, beautiful ceremony officiated by my former pastor, Dr. Gerald Harris, whom I admire and respect a great deal.
The wedding was beautiful, the honeymoon was eventful (my first attempt at snow skiing), and the first few years of the marriage were a bit extremely rocky. God has been so faithful to implant a deep and abiding love for Greg within my heart. He is a man of integrity, honesty, humor and sincerity. I have no idea why he stayed with me, but I am so glad that he did.
Happy Anniversary, Greg! I love you and I look forward to many more years together.
I have been so blessed to have wonderful in-laws. Thank you Charles and Betty for loving me as part of your family!
