Saturday posts are not the norm for me, but today I am taking a cue from my friend, Ginger, at Dwelling in the House, and offering a fun post entitled My Days in Verbs.
- Feeling ~ very full from a yummy breakfast with my man at one of our local breakfast restaurant…Grits full of butter and salt and a cat-head biscuit with strawberry and blackberry jams
- Praying ~ for my friend who is leading a Bible study with un-churched co-workers; for another friend who will sit for the Georgia bar exam next month; for a sweet flight attendant I met on the flight back from Arizona; for our country and the desperate shape we are in
- Hearing ~ the birds singing outside my house; the sound of my nails on the keyboard
- Seeing ~ a foggy, wet morning outside my window; the beauty of the cathedral window quilt my precious grandmother made for me
- Smelling ~ fresh oatmeal bread I baked yesterday and took to work for my co-workers
- Seeking ~ the Lord’s wisdom in responding to a question I received from someone on Facebook; God’s words for completing the writing of HeBrews
- Smiling ~ at God’s timing and faithfulness
- Preparing ~ to go out on my morning walk where the Lord and I chat
- Experiencing ~ a bit of the rewards of the hard work of writing
- Desiring ~ to be always faithful to my Jesus and the call He has placed on my life
- Loving ~ that my man and I will celebrate 18 years of marriage on the 17th.
- Looking forward ~ to watching my friend Bree play basketball at the local college and then my nephew play a JV game
What verbs can you use to describe your days of late?
