What’s in the camera file of your mobile device? Pictures of family, friends, food? Mobile device pics are a collage of our lives in this day and age. So today I’m sharing with you several pics from my device’s camera file. I know, I know….it probably is more excitement than you can bear but please remain calm and don’t get over wrought with the excitement of the whole thing!!!!
Recently I was craving something sweet. Actually, I do that every day, but on this particular day I rummaged around in my freezer and found a Ziploc full of blueberries and decided to make a cobbler. Oh my word, it was probably the best blueberry cobbler I’ve ever made…with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Manna from heaven!
I came out of a local restaurant last week to find someone had cozied their car right up next to mine. Really, people?? I was in my space…you stay in yours. Obviously the space next to mine was a closer-to-the-door space and they decided to wedge their car right in whether it fit or not. Grrrr!! I had to get into my car through the passenger door.
I LOVE this picture. My nephew is 14 years old and loves little kids. We were camping this spring with them and he was walking this little cutie around the campground. He was so patient and careful with the little guy! What he was doing, without even realizing it, was leading, mentoring, and caring. Love it!
This was a beautiful surprise! When our dog, Jake, died last year, a beautiful sunflower sprung up in the back part of his kennel the day after we put him down. Never had been there before! This year this sunflower sprung up at the same time on the side of our house about 50 or yards from where the other flower was. It has never been there before. It’s my Jake flower.
My man has such a funny sense of humor. At one of the pharmacies I work, the owners are Tennessee fans. So, they gave me a door key that was a Tennessee key. I took it home and showed it to Greg and he declared that it I could not bring that into our house. So, he goes to Home Depot and has a new key made–a Georgia key complete with lanyard. I gave it to my boss and his words were—‘probably won’t work’. What a hoot!!
My very first attempt at a pecan pie was a success. Pecan pie has to be one of my favorite desserts and I had never made one until this year. They intimidated me for some reason. However, I got my courage up and made one and it was sooooo good. (you will see a theme in these pics—food. yes i love to eat.)
This year’s canning of squash. They will be so tasty breaded and baked this winter!!
Garden bounty! This was our first year to make a garden. Well, really it was two raised beds, but I think that counts as a garden. My man took over the tomatoes and oh my goodness, they have been to die for. So tasty! I thought I was buying bell pepper plants, but one turned out to be these Giant Marconi peppers on the right. We love them! They are not hot and they taste like a bell pepper only milder. So glad I bought them by mistake.
I was sitting in my office last week working away at my computer. I looked up and saw that I had a visitor. We have seen at least 3 different bears on our property in the past 3 weeks. This was one of the smaller ones. I shooed him away by walking outside and yelling at him. I had back up in case he did not take the hint.
Greg and I stopped at Hooters (no we don’t regularly go there) to eat recently and I found this wet nap on our table. Thought it was a scream and had to take a pic since I am a pharmacist! Maybe if pharmacy and ministry go bust I could be a bartender?????
What’s in your mobile device’s camera files?????
