I hope that you had a very merry Christmas. It was such a special weekend for us for many reasons. I wanted to share a few pictures from our Christmas with you.

I was part of the Candlelight Christmas Eve service at FBC Blairsville. We planned the service to be very simple and reverent. All the music was done acapella by my friend and ministry partner, Kristin. The service was led by the ladies and I did a devotion/drama. I talked from the perspective of the woman at the well about the LIGHT that Jesus brought into her life. As you can see, I was in costume for the message. It was very well received. I was blown away by the attendance…..had no idea how many to expect. I had purchased 100 individual candles for the final part of the service and we ran out. This was our first Christmas Eve service at FBC in many years. The chapel was almost full. Praise Jesus!!What a special evening!

Here is Kristin leading the crowd in ‘Silent Night’ on the front steps of the chapel at the end of the service. Despite the fact that not everyone had a candle, the effect was beautiful. Kristin and I have both been so blessed by the comments about the service.

I brought back some widow’s mites from Israel and had one set in a custom pendant by local jeweler Matt Mercer. It was one of Charlie’s Christmas gifts and he really liked it. If you have heard my video testimony about my relationship with Charlie, you will know how blessed I am to have such a cool relationship with this young man.

We always go to my sister and brother-in-law’s house for Christmas breakfast. This picture was taken after breakfast.

WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!!  I had plunged my 17 oz.water bottle into the snow on the top of Greg’s hunting truck. This was mid-morning on Christmas.

Greg took this picture of me just outside our front door. It has been such a beautiful snow and for it to come on Christmas has been a huge blessing.

Charlie and I went out into the field to check out the snowfall. You can see Greg up on the deck in the background.

We ate lunch at Greg’s parents on Sunday with all the Adams family. Seems Charlie did quite well for Christmas!! Grandparents are a beautiful thing!!

Charlie hit pay dirt!!

Greg’s parents, Charles and Betty, had all their chicks in the nest. In this picture you see Greg’s parents, Greg and Charlie, Greg’s sister and her son, Kalem who is also a freshman in college.
