The creative side of my brain (not sure which one that is) seems to be asleep and unable to come up with a godly, encouraging, faith-building post today. So, I thought it would be fun to do a MeMe. I have not done one in a while and I found this one on a friend’s blog. (Obviously she was having brain issues too.)
What is a MeMe, you ask? It is a post that tells something(s) about Me. Oh, I know, that stirs up so much excitement in you that you can hardly stand it, doesn’t it? I’m sure you have been waiting eagerly to learn strange facts about me. NOT!! Oh, well, you can always click “delete” at this point.
While I am waiting for my brain’s creativity to rev back up, I offer you the ABC’s About Me.
A. Age: 47
B. Bed size: A king Sleep Number bed. THE BEST BED EVER. In fact, we love our Sleep Number Bed so much we bought one for our fifth wheel camper.
C. Chore that you hate: Dusting. Ugh. It is a never ending job.
D. Dogs: None now. We lost our last Brittney, Jake, a little over a year ago. I miss General and Jake so much.
E. Essential start to your day: Coffee and my time with the Lord.
F. Favorite color: Purple.
G. Gold or Silver: Doesn’t really matter to me. If we are talking jewelry, then silver.
H. Height: 5′ 5”.
I. Instruments you play: Piano, but not well anymore. I took 8 years of piano lessons as a child but I rarely play any longer.
J. Job title: Speaker, Author, Pharmacist, Book keeper, wife, step-mom, small group leader.
K. Kids: 1, Charlie, age 19.
L. Live: Small-town USA. Blairsville.
M. Mother’s name: Barbara. Family calls her Bobbie.
N. Nicknames: None.
O. Overnight hospital stays: Tonsillectomy at 5. Foot surgery at 16. Weird drug reaction at 30. Hysterectomy at 31.
P. Pet peeves: Lying, people who cannot be on time (see W.), smacking/chewing with one’s mouth open.
Q. Quote from a movie: I don’t know that I have a favorite quote. I don’t watch too many movies. The only one I can remember is from Gone With the Wind when Rhett tells Scarlett, “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a hoot!”
R. Right or left handed: Right.
S. Siblings: One sister, Leslie. 28 months younger than me.
T. Time: Favorite Time of the day is early morning…from 4am until around 10am.
U. Ultimate Vacation: Israel. (Been there twice and it is still one of my ultimate vacation destinations) Australia. Germany.
V. Vegetable you hate: I like them all.
W. What makes you run late: Nothing. I am obsessively early.
X. X-Rays you’ve had: Yearly Mammogram. Yippee!!
Y. Yummy food that you make: Creamy Chicken Enchiladas. Mexican Chicken Salad. Five Flavor Pound Cake. Italian Cream Cake.
Z. Zoo animal: Hmmm, strange question. Penguin, maybe. I just like to watch them.
