It has been a very long time since I did a meme, so how about one?

I want us to think about our legacies by decades today. What does your legacy look like by each decade (or half decade) that you have lived? Here’s mine:

1960’s  –  Born in 1964 into Christian family. Happy, healthy, well-adjusted.
1970’s –   Accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. Active in youth group at church. Excellent student. Judgmental of others.
1980’s –  Graduated from high school. Battled eating disorder. Married first time.  Graduated from college. Adultery. Divorced. Sexual sin. Wayyyyy too much partying. Foul language. Put Jesus on the backburner during the week, but played the part of a Christian on Sundays.
1990’s –  God sent me to San Francisco to teach me a huge lesson. Sexual sin. Loaded with idols (money, position, body). Judgmental. Condemning. Married Greg. Began to see who I should be through Greg’s eyes. Journey back from the pit began. Moved back to Blairsville.
2000’s – Intense hunger for Bible study. Started Bible study group in my home. Began to deal with character issues. Daddy’s cancer diagnosis challenged my faith and caused me to examine what I believed. Developed deep, godly friendships. Personal holiness became important to me. Call to speaking and writing ministry. God impressed on me the need for humility (think I’ll be working on that till I die!)
2010’s –  Entered a mentoring program. Legacy Bible study published. Awareness of the need to step out of my comfort-zone Christianity. Began losing the judgmental attitude.  AND THE JOURNEY CONTINUES…………………..
