If you are looking for the Challenge 2010 – Verse 4 post, please click here.

I’ve been eager to share a few pictures with you from our weekend but needed to give everyone participating in Challenge 2010 time to post their verse.

Greg and I had a fun weekend. On Sunday we went to Athens, GA to see the Lady Dawgs play basketball. My adorable little cousin, Candace, plays for Georgia and we had not had an opportunity to see her play this season. Candace was a walk-on this year but has really excelled and now starts on a pretty regular schedule. She typically wears NO. 30 but Sunday was Breast Cancer Awareness Day and the Lady Dawgs wore pink.

Here I am with my friend, Sherry. We were sitting pretty high up in the Coliseum but could see very well. Sherry and her husband are Georgia Bulldogs through and through.
Here is Candace and the rest of the team after the warm up. She is wearing No. 25 and is the first one on the left in this picture. Ok, now I must confess. I coveted those adorable pink Nike shoes. They had sparkles in them and were just too cute.
Candace is signing autographs after the game. What you cannot see in this picture is what just blessed the socks off of me. The first little girl to get to Candace for an autograph was a beautiful, beautiful Down’s Syndrome girl. Candace was so precious to her and made sure that she got the autograph she was seeking.

Candace and me posing for a picture after the game. She is a precious girl inside and out.

Now for snow pictures. I know that all my up-north friends will laugh at my SNOW pictures…but it was a beautiful sight and one that we don’t get to behold too often.

We ended up with about 3 inches of snow and my bird feeder shows it off nicely.

These trees would have made nice flocked Christmas trees if it was a couple of months earlier.

Greg and I got out on the four wheeler and rode around for a while. We let Jake, our Brittney, out and he had a blast in the snow. Even though he is an old man (Jake, not Greg) he ran like a pup.

Here is a picture of me with my friend T’s daughter. E is a precious little one whom I had the privilege to pray over when she was dedicated as an infant. This is a family that I love with all my heart.

My kitty had to get into the picture act too. Here she is examining my camera and looking at me like “ok, I’ll let you take one picture and that is all”.
