I can hardly believe that this is the 200th post for The Point. I let #100 slip by unnoticed but now I am at 200 and I feel like celebrating.
I am humbled that the Lord would give me words to pen that anyone would read and find encouraging. At least I hope some of them were encouraging!! Thank you for stopping by when you have a moment and reading what the Lord gives me. Thank you for spending your valuable time with me on occasion. I know that you are just as busy as I am and so I am honored that you take time to visit.
When I began blogging, I had been writing The Point for 4 years and sending it out via email. As I worked out on the cross trainer one day I came across an article in Citizen Magazine about this strange new phenomenon called blogging. At first I dismissed it completely, but then the Spirit prompted me to go back and read the article. I knew that He was showing me the next avenue for my writing and ultimately the speaking ministry He would entrust to me.
I have loved ‘meeting’ so many new friends in the blogosphere!! Some of you I may never see face to face on this side of heaven, but some of you I know quite well. All of you I just love to pieces and am blessed by you so often. Some of you stop by and I never know you have even been to The Point. Thank you, too!!
So, in celebration of #200, I am hosting a giveaway!! If you have read my testimony, you know that I talk about a book that changed my life. It is called “Trusting God’s Heart” and it is by Dr. Frank Cox who is the senior pastor at North Metro FBC in Lawrenceville, GA, just outside of Atlanta. “Trusting God’s Heart” challenged me to examine if I really, really trusted God or if I was giving lip service to trusting Him. In His always perfect timing, God sent me this book so that its message would be fresh to me as I walked through a period in my life where I had to choose to trust God with someone very precious to me.
I will be giving away two (2) copies of “Trusting God’s Heart”. There are two ways to win. You can either leave a comment here on my blog or you can email me by using the contact form on the blog. I will draw two winners on Saturday, April 25th. Whichever way you choose to enter the drawing for the books, please be sure and provide me with a way to contact you. Feel free to tell your friends about the giveaway!!
Thank you again for traveling this earthly, bloggy sod with me. God bless each of you!
