Today I wanted to offer you the opportunity to visit a few of my friends. Well, not face-to-face visits, but online visits to their blogs. Here are a few posts that I felt should be shared with you. Click the title of each post and you will be taken to that post on the author’s web page. If their writing speaks into your heart, please let the author know. We, writers, are blessed by comments and emails about our writing.

Two posts this week, from two different friends, dealt with the issue of being forsaken. I’m sure that most of us have felt forsaken at some point in our lives. Check out these two posts from my friends.

When You Feel Forsaken by Brooke Keith – Brooke is my online friend who lives just a hop, skip and a jump from me. However, we have yet to meet. She is an extraordinarily gifted writer whose primary genre is children’s lit. This post, however, is like a balm to a forsaken soul. Enjoy!

She Was Forsaken; She Was Forgotten, but Not By God by Lisa Shaw – Lisa has the most beautiful, Jesus-full smile I have ever seen. She has a heart for ministry to women, as you will see in this post. I’ve met Lisa in real life and she blessed my boots off.

When Your Fear Meets God, Nothing Seems Impossible by Alene Snodgrass – My friend Alene has a heart for those who live on the streets. This post details her newest calling into ministry to those enslaved by the sex trade industry.

The Importance of Reading the Bible by Jeff Randleman. Jeff is a former youth pastor who is now a senior pastor in the mid-west. He writes clear and timely messages that are biblically based.

Thank You Notes? Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That by Jon Stolpe – At the beginning of the year, Jon challenged his readers to take part in the 90 Day Thank You Note Challenge. I signed on, but I’m doing it a bit differently. I write at least one thank-you note each Thursday and I call it Thank You Note Thursday. Would love for you to join us.

Yet Inwardly by Elaine Olsen – My friend, Elaine, has an incredible gift of words. Although this post is a week or so old, it is worth the read. We all go through times of reduction in our lives. Elaine is experiencing this in profound ways right now, yet her heart still clings to Jesus and pour forth words that are a blessing.

I hope you enjoyed visiting with some of my friends. Have a wonderful weekend.
